The Walnut Pre-Order App is developed and maintained by Walnut Agency — a Shopify-focused web development and app integration company based in Ukraine.

2. Data We AccessThe app connects to your Shopify store via the official Shopify API and retrieves only the minimum amount of data necessary to perform its core function — managing pre-orders.
Specifically, the app may access:

• Order data — order ID, line items, status;
• Product data — product and variant IDs, titles, inventory;
• Store data — store ID, shop name, domain, and contact email.

The app does not collect or store personal customer data such as names, emails, shipping addresses, or payment information.

3. Purpose of Data Use
We use this limited data exclusively to:

• Identify and tag orders containing pre-order products;
• Help merchants organize fulfillment and reporting of pre-orders;
• Maintain and support the proper functionality of the app.

We do not use any data for analytics, marketing, or profiling purposes.

4. Data Retention
The Walnut Pre-Order App retains only the minimal operational data required to deliver its features.
Temporary data used during processing is automatically deleted.
When the app is uninstalled, all related data is permanently removed from our systems within 48 hours.

5. Data Security
All data exchanged between the app and Shopify is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS.
We apply strong security controls, including encryption at rest, restricted access, and activity logging, to protect against unauthorized use or disclosure.

6. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell, rent, or share merchant or customer data with third parties.
Data may be disclosed only if required by applicable law or legal process.

Merchants may contact us anytime at hello@wnt.agency to:

• Request details about what data is processed;
• Ask for correction or deletion of store-related data;
• Report security or privacy concerns.
