Website redesign and migration from WooCommerce to Shopify
Phase Five is a Florida-based wakesurf brand that specializes in making wakesurf boards and gear for surfers in all parts of the world.
We were tasked with making a Shopify branded website for for their division in Europe – Phase Five Europe. They were in need of a new CMS with a better back-end experience for their staff and a contemporary look and feel of an online store.
They had an old WooCommerce site that served as a source of content for the new website.

The Approach
We re-platformed Phase Five Europe to Shopify using paid theme Impact as a foundation. This theme helped us to create a modern and dynamic look-and-feel of the store and elaborate user experience. The Phase Five brand style was used to form the visual identity.
We migrated 200+ products and the blog content from the old WooCommerce website. The client had several other wakesurf gear stores with similar assortment. We implemented warehouse synchronization between all stores to keep the inventory up to date.

The "Team"
One of the tasks was to implement the "Team" section, which is not very typical for an online store. This section contains cards of athletes who are brand ambassadors. Each athlete has his own page with his biography, photo and video. We used Shopify metaobjects + modified blog mechanics to implement those features.
